Hey, I'm Caroll. I'm 18 and I'm from Pärnu – the summer capital of Estonia. Which sounds cool until you realise that it's only sunny and alive for like three months, and the rest of the year it's just windy, grey, and full of sad closed beach bars. I grew up near the sea, so the smell of salt and wet sand just feels like home to me. I finished high school and now I'm working as a junior waitress at a seaside café, which is honestly exhausting but kind of fun when tourists are in a good mood. I'm the type of person who talks with their hands a lot, laughs too loud in quiet places, and always has a scrunchie on my wrist even when my hair is already up. I love spontaneity – like deciding to go for a midnight swim or taking a random bus to a town I've never been to. My friends describe me as chaotic but in a warm way..

I am obsessed with the sea in every single form – stormy, calm, frozen, glowing at sunset. I love driving with all the windows down and singing terribly to 2000s pop songs. Summer nights in Pärnu when the sky stays light until almost midnight and everyone is outside eating ice cream and laughing – that's my favourite feeling in the world. I also love thrifting for weird colourful clothes.

I hate when it gets dark at 3 PM in December – it genuinely makes me feel depressed. I hate rude tourists who leave trash on the beach, slow walkers who block the entire pavement, and when someone says "calm down" while I'm literally just being excited. I really dislike lukewarm food, wet hair on my back after a shower, and the sound of someone filing their nails..
